Staying in a Caravan Park in the UK

Caravan Park in the UK

Staying in a caravan for a holiday is becoming increasingly popular for families and friends. Many people have chosen this form of holiday accommodation because they are happy with the quality of the accommodation and the amenities available.

Choosing to stay in a caravan, because of its ease of set up and its facilities makes a great option for families or groups of friends. Whilst most people prefer to use a caravan because of its storage capacity, calendar and the bouquet of flowers will help to make your holiday even more memorable.

One of the most attractive aspects of caravans is the way they are set up. An interesting fact I got from a friend who is a Georgia Owners Representative and recently returned from an UK vacation was, “Set up in an apartment or large house, they give an overall favorable impression. If you decide to make your holiday a bit more special, with a barbecue or dinner and  corkscrews, arranging your own set up will not be too hard.”

Because caravans are generally equipped, the catering services can come as standard. This means you can enjoy a delicious meal or some perfectly selected drinks without worrying about the cost of room, board and preparation.

Set up

An average caravan will have quite a few basic comforts, such as a gas or electric cook, air conditioning and some modern desired electrical products. In many cases the tow car will also have a shower and toilet. It’s necessary to check when you arrive, as caravans set up vary greatly and the cleaning standards can vary from company to company.

If you choose your own set up, remember to follow some general rules. The most general rule is that wherever possible, park in well lit and well lit shaded areas. This will help to reduce the risk of fires and other dangers. In hot summer months, check you have taken all necessary precautions, such as carrying plenty of water.

The convenience of renting a tow car or you having your own static caravan is, of course, a very important option. The only disadvantage that an individual comes along with is the necessity to find his or her own way round the park, having to hire a car or sometimes a camper van. This may limit the amount of time you have for wandering around the park, so you may prefer to have your car follow you wherever you go or have a chauffeur wait for you at your arrival point.

In my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and that is why I own a static caravan, rather than a tow car. I have 2 dynamic caravans, a classic caravan and a dinky caravan. The classic caravan is as I previously said originally owned, but it is quite clear that something has gone wrong in the layout, tempting the builders to include the TV and cooking items.

It is clear the TV was the gateway to the demise of the tow car. So it is with the camper van. What will happen when you have the sheer luxury of a truly luxurious holiday without the drive to the coast? We will see.
